Whew, Lover’s & Friends the timeliness of this one.

First of all, we want to ask ya’ll how you’re feeling after that root chakra session? We hope rooted and grounded in truth and stability. How have you been walking in your personal power? (tell us in the comments).

So, GoGo jumped out the gate with, “How you introduce me as just the homie? But when we’re alone you be all up on me.” “You love me when it’s convenient. Can never tell when you mean it. if you not all the way in it, maybe you should let someone else get it,” and I thought that was pretty damn root chakra of her. As women, sometimes we’re afraid to just straight up say that sometimes because we don’t want to come off as problematic. Lord knows, when you finally feel like you found a decent one you wanna make sure it’s peaceful, but peace is not suppressing one’s feelings and that’s where we’ve got to un-f*ck ourselves.

When you’re working with a root chakra that’s open and clear you allow your ultimate desires to fuel your everyday decision-making, not outside factors. Deep down we know what we want out of life and the sacrifices we have to make to get them, but one thing is for certain, sacrificing yourself ain’t one of them. Jesus already did that. He paid that ultimate sacrifice so we could live freely, so why aren’t you?

GoGo then goes on to speak about how the thought of seeing her with someone else was the only reason oh dude was sticking around, and when I say I felt that…

I resonate with sis. My thing is, if you’re not ready to be committed thats fine but don’t try to hang onto somebody, you have to let people be happy in whatever path they’re headed on… even if you’re not headed in that direction with them. That’s what it means to co-exist. This scenario of a song just reminds us not to lower our standards for the sake of holding onto something to take up space. if you want more you have to make room for it. Plus, the next one might be the best one.

Our root chakra is located at the base of our spine and it houses our identity, connection to family, relationship to money, and spiritual connection. When your root chakra is clear, your boundaries stay in tact making it easier to attract what we ultimately want. Plus, it feels good to trust yourself and to comfortably lean on your intuition even when your chaotic thoughts may be loud.

& now that you’ve gotten “them” out the way, make sure you’re not still in your own way. Make better decisions, stand tall on what you believe in, and trust your gut at all cost, not your anxiety.
